Sweet Spot® Fruit Custard

Recipe

For the Custard

  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp custard powder (vanilla flavor or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup SweetSpot (adjust to taste)

For the Fruits

  • 1/2 cup apple (diced)
  • 1/2 cup banana (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup grapes (halved)
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped seasonal fruits (mango, kiwi, or berries)

Instructions

Prepare the Custard

  • Take 1/4 cup of milk from the 3 cups and mix it with the custard powder to form a smooth paste without lumps.
  • In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk on medium heat. Bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Lower the heat and gradually add the custard paste to the boiling milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.

Sweeten the Custard:

  • Add Sweet Spot® to the hot custard and mix until fully dissolved.
  • Allow the custard to cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.

Prepare the Fruits:

  • Wash, peel, and chop all the fruits into bite-sized pieces.
  • Keep the fruits chilled until the custard cools.

Assemble the Fruit Custard:

  • Once the custard has cooled, mix in the chopped fruits.
  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours to chill.
