Sweet Spot® Fruit Custard
Recipe
For the Custard
- 3 cups milk
- 2 tbsp custard powder (vanilla flavor or your choice)
- 1/4 cup SweetSpot (adjust to taste)
For the Fruits
- 1/2 cup apple (diced)
- 1/2 cup banana (sliced)
- 1/2 cup grapes (halved)
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1/2 cup chopped seasonal fruits (mango, kiwi, or berries)
Instructions
Prepare the Custard
- Take 1/4 cup of milk from the 3 cups and mix it with the custard powder to form a smooth paste without lumps.
- In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk on medium heat. Bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Lower the heat and gradually add the custard paste to the boiling milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
Sweeten the Custard:
- Add Sweet Spot® to the hot custard and mix until fully dissolved.
- Allow the custard to cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.
Prepare the Fruits:
- Wash, peel, and chop all the fruits into bite-sized pieces.
- Keep the fruits chilled until the custard cools.
Assemble the Fruit Custard:
- Once the custard has cooled, mix in the chopped fruits.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours to chill.
