Instructions
Prepare the Yogurt
- If using regular yogurt, place it in a muslin cloth or a fine strainer and let it drain overnight in the refrigerator to remove excess water. This will result in thick hung curd.
Sweeten and Flavor
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the hung curd until smooth and creamy.
- Add Sweet Spot®, cardamom powder, and saffron milk (if using). Mix well until fully combined and smooth.
Chill the Shrikhand
- Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with sliced pistachios and almonds before serving.
- Serve chilled as a dessert or alongside puris for a traditional meal.
